Peu familier encore en Europe, le nom de Key’mon Murrah rayonne déjà outre-Atlantique sur les grandes scènes d’opéra et de concert, auréolé d’un Premier Prix de la Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition. Le contre-ténor américain y est acclamé pour la beauté et l’intensité de son timbre, la virtuosité et la ductilité de son chant, dans les répertoires aussi bien baroques que belcantistes ou contemporains. Il partage avec Les Talens Lyriques de Christophe Rousset, avec qui il effectue cette saison une grande tournée en France et aux États-Unis, une sensibilité prononcée pour Haendel. Ils proposent ensemble un festival des plus beaux airs d’opéra du compositeur saxon, de ses jeunes années italiennes jusqu’aux succès londoniens.
